I walked !

This is the first for a long time. Last night, and again this morning I actually walked ! I may not have mentioned, but on Tuesday nights I have a friend who works a night, followed by a day ( she does a sleep in at a care home) so on Tuesdays I babysit her little minatur schnauzer, Spike. Lately tho, spike has had to just run in the garden, but my arthritis/bursitis whatever, is so much better we went out ! Its made me feel much happier and able to stick to my 80s plan. ( and no, if your wondering, I didn't go out in legwarmers and Lycra !πŸ˜ƒ

Hi Libby,

That's great that you walked and enjoyed that walk with Spike. Lovely picture of him! He looks like he's relaxing now...! Glad to hear your arthritis/bursitis is so much better. You sound really happy today - that's lovely to hear.

Wishing you many more enjoyable walks and enjoyment on your 80's plan.

Lowcal :-)

😀

That is excellent news. I bet you felt really good to be able to walk and get out of the house. I hope that it keeps up for you.

i am finding this time of year with the changing colours of the leaves that it's a beautiful time to be out doors. I haven't been able to appreciate the changing in the seasons for such a long time and I noticed the other week when I was looking after my sisters dog that I was smiling and feeling very light hearted when I got home cause I was able to appreciate the beauty of this time of year again.

Take care, enjoy the walks you are able to do and if you can't get out, just remember that feeling of being out and about and I am sure that will help you get out and about again.

They say a positive attitude truly felt in your heart works wonders.

Well done and take care.

Fantastic Libby, I am hoping for lots of Autumn and Spring walks ahead for you.πŸƒπŸΌ

Yay go you. Ghetto blaster and shoulder pads need to go on your shopping list too. I was a kid in the 80s. I remember jumper dresses, a baseball cap with a radio built in and a big aerial sticking out the top, pageboy haircuts and Princess Diana blue eyeliner. Just a few ideas there to help you accessorise your next 80s walkabout :) 🎧 πŸ‘Έ πŸ’„ 🐢
