Getting there!

Its been a while! I deliberately have not been weighing myself, but noticing that my skirts are looser, and I could actually button up my mac I got on the scales and was very pleasantly surprised!. I have lost half a stone without really trying; just been eating three meals a day no snacks. As I can eat whatever I want I do not feel deprived. In fact I only eat when I am hungry I listen to my body, and make sure it gets nourishing food. Nor am I reaching for the snacks every time I get stressed. I have been doing lots of yoga and pilates (usually five times per week, and walking). That and lots of deep breathing and relaxing has helped me to just enjoy my food and life as well. I will continue to take the gentle route, and be kinder to myself. I will let you know how things progress.

Good for you, that's exactly how a skinny person eats :)

Hi Missmalice

Sounds like a sensible plan that is obviously working for you. Pilates is a great exercise with the focus being strengthening your core with an element I presume of cardio albeit controlled. Your weight measurement and visual body change regime is one that I feel many could benefit from as daily and weekly weight checking can be invigorating but equally damaging. Well done and keep up the good work, but most of all enjoy the journey.

What a lovely peaceful post. it sounds like you have a plan that is working really well for you and that you can go on with for life. I love yoga (and oddly weights which produce the same effects) i is a wonderful process to get bendier and sleeker and calmer.

That's the way to do it! Being kind to yourself....the true purpose of all of this, to look after our bodies and minds! Well done missmalice3 on your half stone result!

It's so important to love yourself and to be kind to yourself, if you do (and it sounds as though you are) your body will respond.

Keep up the good work and continue to love yourself.

That's excellent and you must feel very proud of yourself - it should be a lifestyle change not a diet!! Because diets end and lifestyle shouldn't. I have been doing exactly that, I can not exercise as much as I want to but in the last 4 months I have lost 3 stone from just being sensible and listening to my body while filling it with fresh tasty food and water!!! Keep up the great work we all deserve to lead a better healthier life xxx
