My first day tomorrow. I too have a lot to loose. Snacking is my problem & once I start I can't stop. Husband not overweight and neither is the dog - so I think my "nibbling" between meals is the problem. I do sympathise and wish you well.

I have read that drinking water can dal with the hunger pangs - not that I've tried it, think I may well start that tomorrow as well.

Hi I'm new here as well this is my second wk i lost 1lb 4ozs. I've been using myfitnesspal and it's been a brilliant help it doesn't tell you what to eat but when you put in what you want to eat it tells you how many calories are in the amounts you have chosen also carbohydrates fat, etc.. I also take water but i take it boiled i have bowel problems and my consultant adviced it for digestion i was wondering if anyone else has tried it that way i also drink green tea i feel that helps with hunger pangs good luck to everyone xx

I have a similar amount to lose and have the same sort of problem with never being full. It's good that you are walking, exercise is even more important than dieting in my experience. If you can make healthy meals that fill you up, like with wholegrain pasta or wholemeal bread, you might help stop yourself snacking. Good luck :-)
