Hello all,

I am new to this plan. I hope to lose baby weight ( my baby is almost 11 months now).

Can someone please explain to me what is meant by "your 5 a day" in the plan.

Thank you.

Hi Rhorho :-) Don't worry about the baby weight - took me 9 years to lose it (it's just gone now !!).

Your 5 a day is basically your recommended 5 portions of fruit and veg.

Good luck with the plan :-) I'm sure you'll get on great, and there's lots of motivation, support and advice here on this forum if you get stuck !

When it comes to fruit and veg, it's probably best to have more veg than fruit. If you're not used to eating a lot of veg, try increasing gradually. Frozen veg is just as good as fresh, so it's easy to have a bag in the freezer.
