Weighed myself again this morning....3lbs lighter again!

I seen to average 3 - 3.5 lbs every fortnight. I can live with that!!

Start weight =19.7

Loss this fortnight = 3 lbs

New weight = 18.10

How is everybody else getting on!

I see that as a good rate of loss. I averaged 1.7 pounds a wee. It's not a race.

Oh I agree, Andyt2120!

It's taken me years to pile on those pounds, it's going to take a long time to shift them!

My original hope was to lose 1 lb a week, as it seemed the most realistic, so I have exceded my aim at every weigh in, so far!

You're doing great. Keep at it, keep determined and make it a permanent change.

Hi NiCherry, well done on becoming 3 lb lighter this week. Your doing a great job and making really good progress on your journey starting at 19.7 and today weighing 18.10 wow :-)

My weigh in is tomorrow and I am looking forward to seeing the scales go down as I maintained last wk so we will see if the scales respond to all the work I have put in this week. Hoping for 2 lbs myself :-) fingers crossed x

Have a faboulous week ahead NiCherry

That's a great loss well done, is this by following the nhs plan?

Thank you!

I kind of started with the 12 week plan.....!

My logic tells me that as I needed to lose 9.5 stone (that's another PERSON, I need to lose), I needed to do it very slowly, if I was going to make this a permanent change. So I started to follow the 12week plan with the intention of using it as a 12 Month plan.... does that make sense?

So far all I have done is count calories with the myfitnesspal app and slowly increase my excersise (which is limited to walking really!), and that's worked fine for me!! So far, at least!?!

Thank you!

It's far too easy to stay of track, isn't it?

Good luck!

Sure it is but now my son is off school till Thurseday. We have holidays for about a month which means 2 big meals and 1 late at night. I guess I will have to start seriously on Thursday but to my jog and heating healthier.

I just know how I work!

I know that if I put on any weight, it would be a valid excuse to pig out 🐷!!! I reckon if I managed to maintain, I might just have a mini blow-out..

By weighing in every other week, I have a better chance of seeing the numbers go down!!

I think at the age of 42, I am finally starting to understand how I tick!!
