Hello all, I'm into week four of the NHS 12 week plan. The scales are not budging much yet but my waist measurement has decreased. Although I am intending to lose weight (I'm currently 77.4kg) in the long term, my main goal is to be fit. I became obsessed with losing weight in the past and am determined not to go that way again. Now that the weather is finally starting to cool down here I have been able to resume my walks with the dogs which is great. I walk for about 40 minutes with them most days and have started doing the 'Davina in 15', which combines weight training and cardio, and aim to do that about three times a week. So all in all, not a bad start.

Hi avid sketchier, sound like you are doing everything right! Them scales will catch up with your fitness improvements eventually. Meanwhile all those lovely walks.
I am also targeting activity levels and fitness outcomes as much as weight loss. Like Portland princess I am losing a pound a week. But am not getting obsessed and loads of health gains. Enjoy
