I want to try and lose weight and figured a better place to start would be with the food I eat. I love crappy food because it tastes good, obviously, but I know it's no good for me and does leave me sluggish etc...

I need ideas for healthier food options that aren't going to be time consuming to create or too expensive. I have no issue eating certain healthier foods, I just lack creativity in how to incorporate them.

For starters. Take a look at the NHS 12 week plan and calculate your daily calorie allowance.

Hi, there are plenty of recipes on here for a variety of food types...I posted a veggie curry a few weeks ago...as a reluctant cook. Check out the NHS website for recipes too...and good luck!

there are plenty of quick cook recipes about , chefs generally acknowledge hectic lifestyles. I have started to ignore the ingredients I cannot afford with a substitute (google it). Get into the habit of keeping staples in the cupboard which you can get in bulk but when on offer. Also learn hich supermarket value brands are as good as label brand. Buy meat etc in bulk and freeze in smaller amounts in freezer bags. I have IBS and have food intolernces so my staple food will be different - lacto free, gluten free and unable to digest many fruits and veg
