I'm still going to view this site....but I have rejoined weight watchers !!! I like the App ( can't get on with MFP) and have downloaded so many on my phone( no space left) any ways I've put on over 7lbs AGAIN!!! And can't seem to stay balanced with my eating & drinking for example the w/ end just gone.....

Friday eve= friends over for a homemade curry & I drank a bottle of RosΓ© to myself......

Saturday = yep you guessed it ( HANGOVER) and after a walk to clear my head and the normal chores,by the eve me and my other half ordered a takeaway pizza (4 slices each & garlic bread)

Sunday = homemade moussaka & another bottle of RosΓ©

Monday = Felt like shite !!!!! So depressed with myself..... I looked online and joined up again, I do hope this will help me stay on track..πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘ΏπŸ˜“

Well June, a girl has to do what a girl has to do. I hope it works out well for you, I'm sure it will. Keep posting here as we need you to give us some encouragement as well as getting support yourself. Good Luck.

Good luck June, WW seems to work for many . Alrhough I actually I think a 5:2 approach might suit you, otherwise you might feel you are always

" on a diet". At least with 5:2 you can have these high and low eating days and wont beat yourself up so much if you go mad at weekends .

As you know, I lost my weight with MFP and general cakorie counting.

But now I am maintaining , I use a loose sort of 5:2 approach . We had friends visiting for the last 2 weekends. Lots of wine, curry, lasagne and garlic bread here too!! I ate 2500 last sunday, about 900 too much for my size. But then I cut right back for 3 days. I have just got up and weighed myself now and Im the same as last friday..9st 12lbs.

Good luck whatever you decide but try not to hate yourself, it will only make it harder. X

Very good sound advice...thank you, and have been thinking about the 5.2 approach 😜.......And really can not be arsed with dieting all the time( boring) as I, getting older I fell time is running away & life is to short to be unhappy or grumpy that you've eaten to much !!! I need to find my balance again.....

Thank you for taking the time to reply.... Xx

Yes. Getting older and staying in a healthy weight range is definitely the right thing to do, but striving for the 'perfect size 10 ' , or whatever you're pining for , is almost doomed to fail. Like I said before give yourself a realistic range of several pounds. In fact, better still, do NOT weigh yourself at all, keep one pair of jeans as your guide, some days they'll be a bit looser than other days but that is the same for all women, even the skinny ones!
