When can I expect noticeable changes?

Also, when would I be able to start dropping down in dress size? Especially if I keep at the pace that I am or if I keep going at at least 3lbs a week?

From your experience, how many stones did you lose per dress size?

Thanks

I think it's meant to be approximately 10lbs per dress size.

oh! that's really assuring.

I wish I knew how to measure what I've lost though: how much is water, fat & muscle.

You can get scales which do that although they are not particularly accurate. I wouldn't worry about it, so long as you are eating healthily and exercising you are doing the best for your body and you will look and feel great!

Thank you, I'm just really adamant on losing at least 4-5 dress sizes in hopefully a year or 2.

REALLY REALLY HOPE IT'S ACHIEVABLE, I wanna look good on my graduation haha.

I think you can do that in 1-2 years no problem.

The best advice I can give is that if you slip up, which you will, we are only human, then to put it behind you and keep going. Often the initial weight gain after a slip up is just water so you can lose it quite quickly.

Never give up!

Sweet thank you for the assurance. My mom doubts I can, but I am positive I will!

Yeah, my main concern is depression hitting me again when I move back to my flat after the summer and living alone again.

When you are living on your own make sure you make time to exercise, even if it is just a walk around the block. It will lift your mood and is really good for you. Also can be a great way of meeting people. I met my other half the first day I joined a running club.

Also eating a balanced diet should help fight depression.

And keep posting on here, we will try and lift your spirits!

I have heard that 1 stone is 1 dress size less

I think it's 16lb for the first one and roughly 14lb for each dress size after that x

Not wearing a dress I can't help with that but I've dropped 6 trouser sizes over 13 months so approx one size per 2 months.

oh wow!

how strict was your regime?

Quite strict but not always. For instance I've been on 3 breaks for a total of a month during the last 4 months. I pigged out while away and gained weight but immediately on return was very strict and lost it again quickly.

I still lost 1 1/2 stones in the last 4 months despite the hols.

I generally am very self disciplined but don't stop myself going out occasionally. I've had a thin base seafood pizza on Saturday and a big carvery meal Sunday that's more than usual but the trick is not to use it as an excuse to slip. I use it as a motivator to be a little stricter for the next few days.
