Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you all know about the 5:2 diet. I had heard about it a while ago, there was an Horizon programme about it, but it sort of went to the back of my mind. Anyway, I read someone's post on here, who mentioned the 5:2, watched the programme by Dr Michael Mosley, which is on youtube. It makes perfect sense, so I tried it. Ive only been doing it three weeks and it's already making a difference. For two days out of the week, you only have 500 calories, which is really hard!!! but you can eat anything for the remaining 5 days. So no more counting and faffing all week, just cut right down for two days. This diet, or lets call it a health plan, is so doable!!!
