Starting the 12 week plan again

so I have decided to start on the NHS 12 week plan again. I did it back in 2013 and lost about 2.5 st but recently I have added some weight back on and feel I need a change. I remember feeling really healthy and full of energy when I did it last time. My confidence was a lot more so I hope to get that back. Fingers crossed for a good weigh in next weekend.

  • Well done on starting again :) I started properly on Saturday and write down everything I eat.. weigh and measure. Felt very upset when I tried on some clothes recently in the changing room of a shop- full length mirrors -OMG! made me realise just how bad things were!! Was 18 pounds lighter this time last year well July 17 to be exact. After a minor Op last August, the weight slowly crept up... ravenous appetite so difficult to keep in check. BUT have to get back on track. Going for a country walk this morning with a group of friends, then a drink and lunch at the pub so have to watch what I eat but not much choice for a usually end up with a cheddar ploughmans. Anyway, lost a pound since last weigh, a week ago.

  • Welcome back! You know that you can do this cos you've done it before :-) As for the feeling of energy and positivity - you're right, that's exactly how I feel since starting the programme 8 weeks ago and you will feel it again soon too :-) Good luck
