Love you June! I did the same on Sunday and had 2,000 calories extra.

Felt so stupid the next day. Why do we do it? I've been good since so I'll be very happy if I just stay the same weight this week. The main thing is to stop feeding your face with rubbish and get back on the plan. Think of it as a "tug of war"... the out of control greedy idiot pulling against the real you. Stay in touch as you need to stay focused. It sure does help me having the forum. :)

This sounds so like me,mine is the crisps and although I dont often have biscuits once in the house I eat them and forget to stop, its obviously the carbs that get me craving more and the sugars but I have to as stated above stop feeding my face, writing this has stopped me wanting to have some more Kettle crisps,I use the excuse these do have have so many calories tut tut

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does things like this! I had two cereal bars and a packet of mini cheddars after dinner last night even though I wasn't the remotest bit hungry - comfort eating :(

maybe you need to diet where you allow yourself goodies on occassion? I tried that dechox thing in March and I just replaced it with other things. Came off the dechox and I find I dont crave chocolate as much anymore and Im satisfied with a tiny bit - although I get addicted to aero bubbles and malteasers so I purposely dont buy those - my point is everything in moderation like good old Mary Berry says :) Just got to learn what moderation is - thats the tricky part :p

I feel the same about chocolate after the Dechox. I definitely don't want chocolate nearly as much as I used to.

Was that all in one day or one sitting ?? 😁

I just got back yesterday from a week away. My last day included: crisps, caesar salad, pasta, wine , g&t and .... two huge helpings of very creamy Tiramasu ( one at lunch and another at dinner) .

i do not intend to weigh myself until sunday at least!!

Hi,

I believe:-

When one 'falls' it is a sign that you are a normal person with normal foibles.

(At least that's what I tell myself!)

The thing I try to do is to: enjoy the tastes, quantities and general experience of eating 'food-stuffs' which I don't normally allow myself. Afterwards, I try not to punish myself for taking the 'holiday' away from my normal (restrictive), eating regime.

And, finally, and this is most important, is to get back on the programme (guilt-free)!

You are who you are. Welcome back!

Your definitely NOT alone, just honest:) We've all done it! Read a good portion (before my boss walked in:-O) of the blog you posted sammygirl38, can relate to her more than I want to admit. Thanks for posting, looking forward to reading the rest when I get home from work.

I really want to get healthy this time and can use all the help I can get, went back to work after taking years off to raise our kids. This is a whole new chapter of my life that feels a bit foreign to me. Looking forward to when it's my norm and feels natural.....tbd:)

Oops! oh well done that, reset the satnav and go again. We've all been there as you can see, your confession opened the flood gates now we can all move forward with a clear conscience absolved of our sins. Well done for saving us all.
