Running with friends

Well been out today with friend who kindly ran with me at a slower pace than she normally would. I have ran 2.5 miles in 30 mins and I feel awesome. Got to say would've stopped at 1.5 miles as had a stitch but Tasha helped me through it 😄

Well done that's brilliant. Ive been on my treadmill for 30 mins doing 2.5 miles as well as i'm not brave enough to venture outside yet, can you tell me would you rather be running outside or inside?

I love doing Parkruns outside, but other than that I do the treadmill. Both have their advantages. If there's a parkrun nearby you should go along and try it. Lots of welcoming people, all runners, absolutely no embarrassment.

Thanks for the advice i live in the country with lots of rolling hills but i just wanted to be a bit fitter before i went outside, i could probably run 5 miles without seeing anybody! I will do it i just feel more comfortable inside at the moment.

Yeah hills are a killer too so I would probably stick to treadmill. We have to drive to find suitable spot 😀 as very hilly here too keep up the good work it feels great doesn't it x

I am surprised that i have gone from using my treadmill to hang clothes on to loving running on it in 5 weeks, another 5 weeks and i might have a go outside. x
