Weigh In 27 April 2015

Happy Bunny here lost 4lb. Delighted with myself and feeling positive. I am starting my 3rd week. I have kept my target daily calories at 1800, most days I have been around 1400 but I wanted to put it as higher because it makes me feel more in control, if I put it at 1400 and saw I kept going a little over I would feel a failure, so visually for me 1800 works. I even had Friday night treats. Introduced some more exercise, I have a zero gravity strider so did that, my husband said he's heard it was good to do bursts of exercise, 2 minutes striding 1 minute rest, so I am raising my heart rate resting then raising it, I did 15 minutes of that and again plan to increase. My next little exercise gem is I heard a trainer saying pick a favourite song and for the verse step up then down on a step (the bottoms of the stairs is good) then the verse jump and that is a quick 4 minute exercise. I have 68 llbs to lose and have some pretty beads (68 of them) which I transfer to an empty jar for each pound lost, the empty jar has 6 in yippee. My son suggested that I made a necklace out of it when I lost everything so I have a reminder of what I have achieved. I thought that was a lovely idea. Good luck everyone. Here's to a new week. xx

Well done on your loss thats great. Use that positivity to fuel you into week 3. Love your sons idea, it would be a great visual aid. Love crafty things :) Have a good week

Well done Lorraine-Mary you are doing well. I was doing OK but then we all caught a sickness-bug and it has really thrown me off track so I need to get back to it. Keep up the good work - I can picture that jar with all the pretty beads half full soon!!!
