My new approach has worked a treat this week, 2lb off! That's 3 altogether in 2 weeks. Get in! And I feel so much more relaxed too. Will keep you posted to see how this approach progresses!

Which small changes have you made this week?

Hi alex7ra. This week I focused on my water in take. I am trying to link a new habit to an exisitng one. So I am having a large glass of water before each of my 3 meals and 1 or 2 snacks.

Not perfect everyday yet but I am beginning to think each meal - "oooppps need to have my water first".

I am finding that because I am more relaxed and thinking of it one habit at a time, I am naturally doing other healthy things (not eating so much rubbish, smaller portions, drinking less alcohol) but not berating myself when I do have a few beers at the weekend, bit of chocolate etc.

I had already made lots of healthy steps ( such as making Ella Woodward's 'chocolate' treats which I eat instead of chocolate) but if I have the odd bar of chocolate - again I am not kicking myself.

This week I am thinking about the alcohol and habit 1 for alcohol is a big one for me - not drinking when I am alone! I will stick to tea and fizzy water then. This should cut out some extra calories.

What are you doing?
