Week 12! And counting...

I'm now on the last week.

Up until week 9 I had lost around 26lbs. This was mostly a stable 2-3lbs a week.

But for the last few weeks I have put on 7/8lbs back on.

I felt I put myself down on Week 10 so got de-motivated and had lots of junk food and sweets (especially since I had a lot of family over during the Easter and these foods were stocked up in the house) :-(

I haven't been counting calories and stopped exercising as often. I think my main problem was isolation. There's no one else in the house/freinds who are trying to lose weight...

That's when I remembered all the beautiful people on this forum! :-D

Thanks for all your support during my journey.

I've realised that this journey goes on past the 12 weeks until healthy habits are embeded in your life. So I'm going to be doing the 12 weeks again during the Summer. I've seen some post where people are on weeks 24 and 25 which really motivated me.

Thanks again for being there :-)

Ah, don't let that get you! And definitely do not do the 12 weeks in summer. Just continue where you left off. Now. Stop eating junk and chuck the biscuits (or eat them, that's what I do). From your post it is clear that you know what this game is about: building habits, and you build habits one step at a time, so don't postpone. If it's too much, just work on one habit, like 5 a day, or drinking enough water.

Don't wait until summer, just keep on doing what you were doing, counting calories and so on. We are on the same boat, :)

The others are right - don't put it off. Start back on the programme now cos there will always be an excuse to put it off. Don't see it as a negative - see it as a good thing where you are treating yourself to the healthiest of food and working your body to make it fit and well. Why should you not be good to yourself right now??? You know that you can do this cos you've lost so much already. Just keep eating the the right amounts of the right stuff at the right times for the right reasons, move about a bit and you will get to where you want to be :-)
