Morning all,
My first week of following the plan (don't like calling it that really as it's just about calorie counting and changing eating habits) is over.
I did actually start to lose weight a couple of weeks before commencing, but I'm still pleased at a 1lb loss for the week.
That doesn't sound a lot I know, but for those of you who have been dieting before and know the battle, it's a real achievement.
5-things I have noted this week:
1. I haven't gone hungry.
2. Evenings are still snacktemptuous for me. Need to find something to pick at - carrot sticks etc may be the answer (or an early bed).
3. Breakfast must be porridge as anything else and I am hungry.
4. My home made wholemeal bread (1 slice) fills me up for lunch).
5. Fizzy drinks (even diet ones) seem to make me more thirsty and hungry.
I slipped off the wagon a bit from Wednesday when daughter began making chocolate coins from Easter eggs and, well, ahem, well, you know, then thought "what the hell" (embarrassed).
So, Week 2 starts today and it's back to counting everything. Other schemes may go for massive loss, but 1lb a week will do me just fine. If I can continue at this rate then then that would be me at 17st by 6th June. Would be pleased to start summer with that.
Hope your journey is going well too, and if not, remember today is a new day.
