Tomorrow (Monday 13th April) is my start date, registered with myfitnesspal, just about cleared the fridge of devil food, bottle of wine is empty and the sun is shining. I have decided to start at 1800 calories a day, may seem high but I imagine lower than I have been having, thought it might be good to reduce slowly, plus get me in the swing of calorie counting. I think I will have a shock when I compare what I thought I was eating as a 'normal' measure, to what I should be eating. Will weigh in tomorrow morning and up-date my stats, ready to rock and roll. Must keep positive.

I am having 1500 calories, which is what's recommended for my activity level, measures and age to lose weight. I'm taking it slow but steady. It's working for me, I'm not anxious and feeling healthier. Good luck with your plan!
