Ed's diner!

Very impressed with MFP app but OMG I have just put in food I ate out with hubby and grandchildren at Ed's diner however that is it!! can not eat anything else today, have gone way over calorie allowance in just one meal -1600 cals!! Just as well I don't do this on regular basis. Did enjoy my blue cheese burger, had shared chips, onion rings, coleslaw, berry sundae with hubby as planned but it is still a lot of calories.!!!

    I know what you mean, LOVE blue cheese. I have a block in fridge that stinks , still in date, LOL but have resisted opening cos I will devour it in one go!

  • Pesky grandchildren always make you eat more! (Joke). Suggest limiting trip to Ed's Diner- or checking online menu and deciding (and sticking to) what to eat - last time I went to similar place I had burger - no bap, no nachos, little rice, salad! Twas enough!

  • Last time just hubby and I went, had a plate each of chips etc so goodness knows how many cals in that. Thought I was being good sharing half with hubs. Will be just burger next time. Fortunately its probably only once year visit, only discovered it in Jan this year.

  • Well, it's great that you now know the amount of calories you find in these foods and it's up to you to make healthier choices or increase your activity after this, like going for a long walk just after it etc. Good luck!

  • Had done 1.15hrs classes prior to taking grandchildren out which did compensate some but I know in future!
