Motivation

Hi all ,my names lisa,have been trying to lode weight for 10 years off and on ,i,m now 5,3 and weight 16 stone, i,mvery frustrated with myself as alhough i don, at big meals or fryed food i put weight reason is i,m addicted to chocolate and sweet food,my food portions are small i don,t have an appetite so tend to pick.i would love smeon to motivate and give nme some advice,good luck all of you and well done

    I would definitely recommend taking a look at the NHS website pages, if you've not already done so. The link is here:

    There's a 12 week structured plan, and it's got lots of sensible advice and information for healthy eating and exercise.

    Lots of people in the community do regular weigh-ins, and I do one on a Monday which is entitled 'Please Join Me for a Monday weigh-in' (current date in brackets), and quite a few people join in on that one - you'd be very welcome to join us. Anyone is welcome!

    I think the community are very friendly and supportive, and I'm sure you'll find that too.

  • Thankyou very much,it,s sounds what ,i need ,i don,t really eat meals ,wrong i know i don,t like salad veg or fruit i don,t binge on choc but i eat it everyday ,i,m worried as i have diabetis ,but i can,t crack the addition ,will try the way in ,thank you so much for your reply .have a great day

    I dont know if this is a great advise BUT it works for me. I swap milk chocolate for 78% Dark chocolate (get a good brand).. its so reach and full of flavor that you would only have a small piece of it.

  • Welcome, I hope you find what you need in this community. Start by dowloading an app on your phone to keep track of calories (Fat Secret, My Fitness Pal...), it's a great aid! Good luck!
