Funny feeling!

Had a lovely morning yesterday with children ( and grandchildren) - then chose scone with jam and cream with coffee! Half an hour later felt as if I had a huge stone in my stomach - apparently went very pale - not a good feeling! However sitting down - watching the rugby ( sorry England!) felt so much better! Guess my stomach can't take such "treats" anymore! Lesson learnt! Currently cooking Hairy Dieters All in one Spicy Pork and Rice (4 meals for me) - looks and smells delicious! Am now at target (ish) BMI = 23.4 - 74.3k - would just like to get to 73k! Lovely afternoon here! Should be out being active - but waiting for Liverpool match - I usually feel as if I've run a marathon after watching Them! Keep going everyone - have a great day!

  • Possibly a 'carb crash', the simple carbs in the jam and white flour have been processed quickly by your body. My treat now is coffee with cream, but without the cake.

  • We make muffins. We use the week nine recipe for fruit banana bran cake and use a muffin tray instead. We have also removed the sugar and use Natvia sugar instead, although brown sugar is ok. We also make a few changes in the fruits, like using blueberries
