Week six weigh in

No gain or loss this week. But that is good considering my battle with emotional eating this week. Any tips on dealing with this as I go into week 7?

Hope everyone has an amazing week xxx

Hormones are playing havoc this week, wouldn't be surprised with a gain tomorrow, but that's hormones for you!!! Starting week 5 tomorrow ... Amazed that I'm sticking to it ... Hoping not to be thrown off course if I do gain tomorrow!!! We'll see 😉

I know what you mean. I'm surprised I'm sticking to it too. Support from the forum is priceless though. Would be lost without it. X

That is a very good suggestion thank you. I am always telling others to remain positive I guess I should practice what I preach 😃

Hi Wombat stress and emotional eating is a nightmare. I've had few days where I've gone over as had a glass or two of wine, but keep it up. You haven't put on so that's good. I try and stay within 1400 - 1500 cals a day if I can. I've got the myfitnesspal app on my phone so I can keep a track of what I'm eating in a day. If I go over I don't beat myself up about it and try and do better next day.

Good luck with week 7 x

I know it is, my thing is cakes and biscuits. I have to really try and stay away from them or I have smaller meals so I can have my treat. I hope you have a better week. I'm away next weekend so not counting on losing any weight then. If you need encouragement during the week just post. Keep it up you can do this x

We can both do this Julia, I reckon you will be ok next weekend. You have your thoughts in the right place x

I'm certainly trying but I'm easily swayed and I know it's all eating out as staying in a hotel. We can but try. You have a good week and think positive. It's start of a new week and we can do this!

Remember you are not alone, everyone has weeks where they don't loose any. If you are feeling like you are eating when maybe you shouldn't then, pick up a magazine or book or better still go for a walk. Good Luck

Thanks Shirley, funnily enough I was just thinking about picking up my art again. Maybe distract myself that way. X

It's great that you kept on track and focused this week, even greater if you had a bad week. In my case I tend to eat carbs-based dishes: rice, pasta, toast,... that are not great for weight loss but satisfy my need of "comfort eating". I completely avoid sweets, chocolate and cakes, as I am a compulsive eater when dealing with these foods. Good luck!!
