Weight management in pharmacies

We are looking for people who have actively tried to lose weight to ask them about whether they would consider weight management support from community pharmacies. We would like to invite you to complete an online survey that will take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. This research is being conducted as part of an MSc Health Psychology project at UCL by Matthew Hibbert, under the supervision of Dr Angel Chater.

We will be asking you questions about your gender, ethnicity, height, and weight. We will then ask about ways you have tried to lose weight, and what services you would like to receive from pharmacies for losing weight.

All information is kept confidential, and at no point are you required to give your name. To take part you must be over 18 and a resident of the U.K., and have actively tried to lose weight at least once in the past six months. The link to the questionnaire is below:

It is hoped that this research will be used to develop a weight management intervention in pharmacies that the members of public would like to receive, and that pharmacies would be happy to deliver.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact myself, Matthew Hibbert (matthew.hibbert.14@ucl.ac.uk) or the lead researcher, Dr. Angel Chater (a.chater@ucl.ac.uk).

Thank you for taking the time to read this post, and your contribution to this survey.
