Well thank you all for your comments. Its good to not feel so alone on this journey that at times seems unachievable, and then completely achievable.

Its good to know that I am not the only fat and fifty out there.

Weird thing is that I went to a commercial weight loss group and gave up because I was fat! so to do this from the comfort of no more then my scales and an online buddy or two seems great.
