Hi Everyone, Im new to this but looking for motivation and I guessed joining a forum where everyone is struggling with the same issues would help.

My downfall..Chocolate..I just love it and am finding it so hard not to eat it.

Hi I know what you mean but I'm on day 39 without any at all! I just asked myself is it doing me any good? NO Is it helping me get to my goal? NO so started counting the days to see how long I could go without. Some may say just have a little bit but my problem is that if it's a multi pack then I'd eat them all, box of choc I just keep going until they had all gone. So a total ban works for me. I did replace the amount of choc by eating fruit but now cutting back on this due to more closely counting my daily cals.

Thank you its good to see others are having the same problems. I have managed not to eat any so far today and eating fruit instead so watch this space. Well done to you for not eating any for 39 days..have you lost weight by cutting it out?

Lost 4lbs and then over a week put that back on but have lost the 4 again? This happens on certain weeks but I feel more motivated and even with chocs in the house still from Christmas not been tempted but I've always fruit in just in case I fancy something:) Plus my skin is looking better too:)

That's good to hear..Well Im still resisting and usually afternoons are the worst for me so I just had a yoghurt for some sweetness and that seemed to have worked..

Hi, I am also new to this forum, but I find it very motivating to be here. I started this journey a month ago with 107kg. I have managed to lose 5kg so far. I hope to lose more!. This 12 week diet plan seems alluring to me!

Hello its my first day too and i adore chocolate. They are saying now that the food industry are putting something in our food to make us want to eat more.........all about the money. I havent had any choc yet today cant decide whether to cut it out all together or just ave a little each day. They do say cutting something out you love makes you want it all the more, dont think i can cut it out all together, good luck to you:)

Thanks..I am sure they say that dark chocolate is better for you but I am an all or nothing girl so once I start I have to eat it all ha ha

Good luck Becky..Its not easy and I exercise too and am still struggling. I guess age has a certain amount to do with it too
