Time to make a change

Hi all

My partner got me looking at this site as we both need to lose weight and I found the forum. I have never joined in with one of these before but it sounds like just what I need to keep me motivated. I have tried various diet clubs over the years but the get togethers they have after the weigh in (which are meant to be motivational) do nothing for me.

I have been overweight all my life with my weight going up and down over the years. I used to play a lot of racquet sports that seemed to control things but did my back in about 6 years ago and since then have well and truly become a couch potato. I am the heaviest I have ever been in my life and this needs to change. So I am going to sign up for the regular weigh ins, download the 12 week diet plan and get off that couch.

It would be nice to join in with some people who are starting at the same time so we can support each other. Any takers??

Good luck to you both :) Look up Lowcal's Monday weigh in - I find it really motivating - we don't all lose every week but the support keeps you striving. Some folks are doing amazingly well and their tips and very helpful.
