Hey everyone, so I have set myself a task of drinking nothing but water for the next 7 weeks, including no squash, juice, fizzy drinks. Anyone else up for the challenge?

I'm gonna do it as well I'm always drinking diet coke I don't really enjoy it anymore.so I'm gonna give that up.

Yeah that's my problem, diet coke. And it's so bad for you so I def need to quit my addiction!

Hi I'm new to site but I am starting to diet tomorrow ,fizzy drinks are one of my many bad habits so I will join your challenge too . Don't think I've ever had the recommended 8 glasses a day :-0

My problem is I dont drink any water so for me I'm with you but I start tomorrow as already had cuppa

I never used to drink a drop of water but now don't mind it. I have a filer for home and at work we have the filtered tap as I can only drink it if it's really cold, can't drink it out the tap.

Day 1: 1- 1/2 litres of water today ,3 cups of coffee but no fizzy or cordial yet target 2litres before bed :-)

Start of day 3, this will be the test - the weekend! Day 1 and 2 were ok, drinking water at work is easier. Had about 2 litres a day. Even managed to avoid friday cakes yesterday! How is everyone else going? I'm just getting ready for a 9am BodyCombat class...

Diet coke and all the fizzy drinks got to be a no !! no !! Every time i think mmmm i need a coke or a fizzy drink i just have a drink of water and it just goes away after 1 week in don,t think i need a coke , and that,s in just 1 week and i am no feep fit king but it,s looking good ? Last week i was 13.10 and today i am 13.01 ...It,s not just the coke i no but hey something is working ?

Yeah completely agree, it's been 4 days since I've had any drink but water and I used to have 2-3 cans of diet coke a day! It's been alot easier than what I expected as well, didn't ever need it! It really does help with weightloss as well as I don't feel as bloated at all. What sort of foods do you eat?

I do eat well at the mow water 24/7 morning porridge and some fruit and honey ...Later chicken salad or something like that ? later maybe n e thing but nothing to over the top you no !! Off the beer to helps big time ....

I am looking to get to 12 stone bye the end of october and then just keep on going if i can do it o and i do go the a gym 2/3/4 times a week but havent been for the last 2 weeks as got to much work on ..

Me to off the alcohol day 10 for me with no drink HELP ME lol joking But if i can keep the wait going down and not up i am happy to keep it going ..

Yeah as soon as you start to see results then it makes it easier! Next weekend will be the test for me as I'm going to the pub for a family meal and I love a cold glass of beer..but water it will be!

I got a funeral to go to in the week and sat night i got a friends 21th now that will be hard but knot to say if i fill like i will have a beer i will do ....If i say no to myself all the time i think it will just make things harder don,t you ?

Yeah completely agree, you def need to give yourself a cheat day every now and again. How much weight have you lost so far?

Well i was 15.03 this time last year, then started the gym and things like that got down to 14 and stopped sort of if you no what i mean .....But now back on it again and over the last 10 days i am down to 13.01 well i was this morning n e way ....How about you ?

My weight has yo yo'd for years now. In 2011 I was 13 stone (5ft 8 tall) , I'm now 15.5 but a couple of months ago I was 16.8 so least it is going down. I lost 3lsb this week. Just started a new gym plan, go to the gym Saturday - Thursday with Friday as my rest day and started calorie counting using the MyFitnessPal app which is working. I want to get back down to 13 asap really!

Good going girl 16.8 at the very start !! I to am about 5ft 8 i think ? about that !! I am sure you will get back to 13 stone ....I will get down to 12 stone in a 4 to 5 weeks if it kills me lol.... And then take it from there ?

Yeah it's then just about maintaining it! I keep thinking I hope I don't have to go to the gym 6 times a week when I have hit my ideal weight! I see so many skinny girls in the gym every day (and they do 2 classes in a row) and think why are you here! haha

I see all that at the gym every time i go, but every one is doing there best in the gym the more you go the better it get or so i have been told ..The fitter you get the better it is to do your work out in june i did a 10k run ( well run and walk lol ) but before the gym and working out i would never !! never !! never !! never !! NEVER !! in 250 years think i could do it ok 300 years ..... Time for some water i think lol
