Well done. 7lb is a great start. Fab incentive to lose so much weight. I wish you every success.

Best of luck great incentive for sure. Definetly going to be a hard graft for 8 stone but it's doable just need to live and breath health :)

Well done so far, you CAN DO IT. Yes it will take quite a while but dont only think about the 8st to lose, think about the first 1st which wont be far away it seems., And as you pass each stone treat yourself to something nice (not food !) Maybe a facial or just a new colour nail varnish ! Be proud of yourself cuz the action you are taking will make you happier, healthier and live longer. Then if you get to be s mummy too, that is a bonus ☺

Well done you're doing so well already. I can fully empathise with your situation. I've just lost 5st 5lbs in a bid to get pregnant. It's taken me since january and it hasn't been a walk in the park but I used my determination to be a mummy to keep me going.

Two weeks ago I had the best news. I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant :-) . Changing my eating habits and loosing the weight was the best thkng I ever did.

Awwww congratulations that's fab :)

I am the most determined I've ever been. I don't want to regret not giving this my best shot in years to come. It's gonna take a long time but it will be so with it in the end x

This is totally the right attitude to have.

Remember that it's not just about baby, your health is just as important. I'm so glad I changed my habits as now I know how to eat healthy.

I drink water now instead of fizzy pop and very rarely drink tea or coffee. I'm so glad I kicked the caffeine addiction as you're restricted to mabye a can a day. I would have been on a huge caffeine withdrawal right now if not.

Make sure you get into a good exercise regime. I took up swimming and the dr said I should continue what I'm doing. Swimming is great exercise for pregnancy apparently.

Thanks everyone. I feel so proud of myself. Especially as I've only put 3lbs on since finding out I was pregnant and that was due to a weekend away and eating most of those meals out.

I don't want to sound like I'm crowing I just want people to know that it is possible if you put your mind to it. It's true that loosing weight is 80% diet , 20% excercise but 100% determination. You have to keep telling yourself uou can do it even when you think it's all going pear shaped and you want yo give up.
