Good day and my blog..

Today has been the first completely positive day I've had health/fitness-wise for a loooong time. I walked a mile this morning, have stuck to my food plan and eaten well and then did Jillian Michael's Banish Fat Boost Metabolism and have now collapsed on my sofa with a post-workout smoothie.

Also if anyone is interested in following my progress by another means I've started a blog: aka-thefitone.tumblr.com. I picked the name as when I was at my fittest I was known as the fit one in my group of friends...and I want to feel like I've earned that title again.

Hope you're all having a good day!

Congratulations. Have you tried exercising on with a WiiFit? It makes it fun. I find it very hard to stick with exercise - walking was the only type I could motivate myself to do everyday. But now I enjoy using the WiiFit as well, and its ueful to have it in reserve in case the weather's bad so you don't fancy a walk.

I agree with the Wii Fit. I recently took up Wii Fit Yoga. Its definitely helping

I do the jogging programmes (but walk rather than jog). I also love the segway. I really enjoy the snow ball fights, but it kills my thumb so I'm going to have to go easy on that one.

I do actually have a WiiFit but I enjoy DVDs, running and exercise classes a lot more so I don't find it too difficult to motivate myself to do it when I get into routine. I'm intrigued by this Wii Yoga though- yoga's something I've tried but never really stuck to, but I need to do something about my flexibility haha

Sometimes! That one didn't though.
