I couldn't believe it when I stepped on the scales...I lost 1 kg - 2.2 pounds last week!!! I am amazed! I think it must be because I went for a very long cycle ride on Sunday and I did really well with my exercise last week. But I dont want to be too focused on how much I weigh, I think if I get too hung up on weight then it would become an obsession that I dont need...so my focus for this week will be to make sure I drink enough water and eat enough Iron an Calcium. Perhaps I might start with the strength training which I havent done. I am not expecting to lose the same amount this week...one always loses quickly in the beginning anyway and this was week 3 for me...If I keep on track and lose something then I will be happy...eating a balanced diet is more fun and more complicated than I imagined! I am really starting to enjoy my exercise so I need to make sure I eat the right stuff for my training.
