Another pound lost this week, slow and steady is winning the race. Have to admit I did have two unplanned treats this week as well as a sneaky chinese lunch when I was out with my mum - BUT we were both good and only ate half of the meal and brought the other half home and had it for supper, so technically I didn't go over my calorie allowance. I've started doing Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred DVD, which is 20 minutes of combined strength and cardio fitness - I've only done two days of it so far, however I am feeling the difference already, found muscles I didn't even know existed

Well done on your loss I am glad I read this today. I lost 1lb yesterday and wasn't happy - it put me in a right funk - "slow and steady is winning the race" - I will remember this

Awh I am glad it has inspired you. I always keep in mind the story of "The Hare and the Tortoise" as it helps bring encouragement when I am failing. Well done on your 1lb loss, you are well on your way to a healthier new lifestyle
