Week 4 of the Losing Weight - Getting Started plan

Well this post is a bit late as I have been insanely busy over the past couple of weeks so my apologies to any regular readers out there.

Week 4 resulted in a 2lb weight loss and I managed to stick to my calorie limit for 5 out of 7 days, which for me is pretty well done! I also did at least 50 minutes of exercise every day except Saturday, which coincidentally was one of the days I went over my calorie limit... I was working and none of us wanted to be there so I bought everyone brownies and we made hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. Oops!

While exercising every day is great for your health, doing almost an hour nearly every day is pretty tiring. I was planning on doing some form of exercise every day during week 4 but by Saturday I decided I needed a rest as I was shattered. On top of working a 6 day week, it just wasn't working for me. But, I tried it and that is what counts. When we've quietened down at work I'll try it again and see if I feel any better, if not, exercising 7 days a week is evidently not for me! I also tried my first fitness class at the gym, I chose to do Body Balance as it includes things like yoga and pilates so it will be a great help with TaeKwon-Do in terms of my balance and flexibility. It was a great class and made me work harder than I thought it would! Due to a TaeKwon-Do grading coming up I've had to put the classes on hold as they're on at the same time as training but I'm hoping to be back as soon as my grading is out of the way.

That's it for now, keep going every one, we can do it :)
