Between brown rice and special low GI rice, which one is better ? Especially with respect to PCOS and weight loss?

I think brown basmati probably has the lowest GI. Have you tried any alternative high fibre veg like sweet potato?
Have you tried making your own rice by using cauliflower instead? I know, it sounds bizzare, but I saw it being made on TV programme a few weeks back and I gave it a try. It is delicious and much, much nicer than normal rice (could also be healthier too)!
I second using vegetables, I've recently started replacing some of my rice with meals with broccoli. I believe also Pearl Barley has a lower GI than Brown Rice but don't quote me. I recently made a dish with Pearl Barley and it made a pleasant change.
