I'm now 13.8 which is exactly the same as last wks weigh in, finding it hard not to get a little despondent...I wasn't expecting miracles but 13.7 would have elevated my mood a touch. Hey ho keep trying...

Try not be disappointed, that's 2 Pounds a Week which is fantastic! Well done and massive congratulations, keep going you'll get there in the end, remember marathon not sprint.

Try not focus on just losing weight, your goals should also include overhauling your eating habits to include a healthy and well balanced diet, this in turn will help you maintain any weight loss once you reach your target weight.

Once again well done :)

Wholeheartedly agree with advice above. You have done massively well. It has taken me ages to lose 12 pounds- so i am impressed with what you have lost in a short space of time. See how you go next week. Best of luck

Totally agree, most of us 'stick' for a while, so don't get despondent.

Thanks for all the positive feedback, it's especially encouraging because it has helped me to realise that it's not going to come off uniformly and it really is ultimately about lifestyle....

Well I know my weight varies, might even be a bowel movement!

5:2 isn't a quick fix but then if it was it wouldn't be good for you. Stick with it and it becomes a 'way of life' - and it does work. I've gone from 11.9 stones last early Jan down to 9 stone - a weight I don't ever remember being but suppose I must have been once! Mind you I also believe exercise [fast walking in my case] is brilliant, it really does help shift the fat.
