Stomach ulcer friendli diet

I have just spent 6 weeks in hospital with mystery abdomen pains. Eventually they say I have iliopsis syndrome and also some ulcers. I need to lose some weight before my day surgery on my back but don't know how to adapt the diet to help my ulcers. I have googled it but there is a lot of conflicting advice. Is there any NHS diets out there for ulcers?

I would advise you to seek specific help from your GP, or from the team who will be performing the day surgery or from the consultant responsible for your last episode of hospital care.

Yes I went to the Dr today to ask to be referred to the dietician. Just not sure what to do in the meantime and scared to bring the pain back.
