Or I should say am I eating too much fruit in one sitting?

Breakfast - 2 Weetabix and fruit n fibre with skimmed milk.

Lunch - Small sandwich made with Warburtons thins, with cheese, tomato and a little branston, low fat yoghurt, an apple, orange, banana, pear, plum, kiwi fruit and sometimes a Satsuma,

Dinner - Any meal from the meal mixer menu.

I have been told that I could be eating too much fruit in one sitting and should spread it more evenly throughout the day, is there and sense/truth/reason why I should?

Cheers, Mike.

I understand fruit can be high in calories. You may need to watch your calories and if required replace fruit with vegetables like carrots, cucumber, peppers etc.

Have to admit that is a lot of fruit in one sitting maybe you will find you don't need that much in one go. Some fruit ie bananas have high sugar content but as long as within calories its down to personal choice as to whether you are a three meals a day eater or a snacker. I tend to fill up with salad as lower calories than fruit ( but always depends on what's in it ) good luck

It sounds like a lot, but I don't see how spreading it out over the day would be better except that I would be stuffed after eating half of that! I tend to have 1-2 servings of veg and 1 serving of fruit with lunch. Whether you eat it at once or over the course of a day it's the number of calories you're eating that really counts.

As it has been said fruit all be healthy, contains sugar and that can add up quite a few calories if not properly checked. The fruit you've listed adds up to anything depending on the size from 400-500 calories. Fine if it puts you within your limits not so good if it puts you over.

Just information I plateaued for around 10 weeks on a diet, I got very frustrated and it was not until I added up what I was exactly eating did I realise I was munching an extra 300-400 calories a day in fruit (all be dried fruit in my case).

If you are eating that much fruit and you are losing weight then fine, but you may find as the weight comes off and your daily calorie requirement decreases that you then need to look at it again.
