week 1 done

Hi everyone just a quick update i completed week1 Yaaa :) , managed to eat sensibly breakfast lunch and dinner with healthy snacks which is a big achievement for a serial yo yo dieter binger or starver. lost a healthy 4 pound , yes i wish it was 4 stone but i really think i'm on the road to recovery. fitted in some exercise and still feeling positive so here goes week two :)

    4 lbs is just fine for your first week or two. You'll settle down to a loss of 1 to 2 lbs a week, which is just fine.

    Don't be in a hurry to lose weight. Doing it at the right pace is much better for you.

  • Couldn' t agree more. Having been the queen of diets and up and down like a yo yo. i have tackled it very differently this time - I am taking it very slow and steady - with the view it has to sustainable weight loss that stays off. So i have a plan of a modest pound a week - which take 28 weeks to lose two stone. If it takes that long so be it. the main thing I have taught myself is how to live and keep the weight off.

  • Well done you on the great weight loss - that must be hugely motivating. I am currently doing pound a week - which is slow - but I accept the pace of that - and that it is all going in the right direction.

    good luck for next week - don't be disappointed if it isn't quite as much as this week.xx
