Why wouldn't increasing exercise increase my appetite? Don't get me wrong, I think exercise is essential for maintaining/improving heart and lung function, strength, mobility and so on, but is of limited use for weight loss.
I think if you increase your muscle mass (through excercise) your body burns more calories even at rest. so more excercise, more muscles, more weight loss.
Aah...building most muscle necessitates intense exercise, not more (duration) exercise.
