Hi Scottishlass1,

The best of luck with your goals. Sounds like you've got the tools you need - hope all goes well. I haven't tried any of the downloads (like the c25K) you mention, but would be interested to hear how you find it.

All the best,

Lowcal.

I know this wasn't directed at me, but I didn't enjoy the NHS c25k podcast.. just didn't keep me interested. I ended up downloading a different 5k training app that uses my own music and mixes in a storyline with challenges to meet, and it's been great!

I'm glad you have found something that is just right for you, it is trial and error on many things. If the nhs c25k does not work for me I would like to try your app thanks.

Hi, I'm doing both the 12 week plan and c25K. I'm on week 3 of the diet plan and week 2 of the exercise, I didn't start the exxercise until a week into the diet so I didn't feel it was too much and gave up. I lost 3lb the first week and 3lb the second week. I'm also on week 1 of the strength and flexibility podcast and I do this on the days I'm not at the gym. Good luck with everything and keep us posted.

Good luck, I am 5 weeks into the C25K and am shocked at how I have kept going and can actually do it!!!

I have struggled to understand what the NHS 12 week diet plan really is but to be fare I maybe need to give it a bit more time to read through.

I have lost 5ib which I know is fine but unrealistically expect more.

With the weather changing Its been so nice going our to run instead of sitting in front of the TV and also stops you snacking.

Think of those summer cloths!!!!!
