Hello
At the moment the NHS is doing a weight loss course called FOOD FOR THOUGHT.
Discuss this course with your GP and He may send you on it, Subjects, food and associated matters. There is also the use of a gym and they will go through routines with you. I did the course about a year ago and it consists of about six sessions at night.
Lectures are given by Health professionals. associated with weight loss, they also watch what you are eating and explain how to reduce calories and additives etc. The course is quite proactive, and you will meet once a year to discuss any problems you have
Many people although not all are loosing weight before operations to help them loose weight, and they have strict targets that they need to fulfil before the operation is performed
If you are having problems it is well worth looking into it,ask your GP
