Hypertonic Saline and Abuterol mixed together in nebulizer
As of yesterday I’m adding 3% saline to
nebulizer
. I read it was ok to mix abuterol and the saline but I’ve never seen any posts where people were doing that. I thought I’d save some time but maybe that’s not possible with this disease. Does anyone mix these meds?

Relentless Asthma flare
Yesterday, I used my
nebulizer
Levalbuterol first waited 2 hours then used Spiriva. Oh my gosh , after I used the Spiriva I started coughing and like I couldn’t breath for a few. Then it passed. Has this ever happened to anyone? I have a call out to my Dr.

Coughing again ...
I saw a fabulous doctor who threw everything at me -
nebulizer
, antibiotics, steroids, Omeprazole, cough medicine and an antihistamine - which calmed it all down. He did say he couldn't hear any wheezing or rattling when he examined me.

fluticasone propionate
I was referred to a pulmonologist who said I had asthma as well as Bronchiectasis and prescribed a
nebulizer
with abuterol/ventolin and fluticasone propionate He did a bronchoscopy and also found MAC. I will see an infectious disease specialist in December with a follow up from my pulmonologist.

Inhaled bicarbonate
I recently saw a severe asthma specialist who prescribed me inhaled bicarbonate to use with my
nebulizer
(it's in liquid form) when my asthma is flaring. I have done it a few days in a row and have been pleasantly surprised by how nice it feels.

Neb machine in Greece
He uses a Phillips InnoSpire Elegance plug in
nebulizer
machine, 120V. I am told by the manufacturer (Phillips) that even if he purchases a voltage adaptor, that the neb machine will not work. He needs to buy a new machine for use in Greece.

Update for all interested
Nebulizer
4 times daily also. Louise e mailed GP for more meds needed urgently today. I cant help thinking all these problems stems from being diagnosed with underactive thyroid . I had no symptoms of this just breathlessness.

Glutathione Nebulization?
I tried it tonight using 100 MG of GSH powder dissolved in 1 tbs saline in my home
nebulizer
. I’m not sure about the dose or what kind of GSH to use. Or even if it’s a good idea? Looking at the literature, there are studies using it for pulmonary conditions as an anti-inflammatory agent.

Slow road to recovery.
. 😊😊 I'm seeing a Physiotherapist & doing the exercises, using my
Nebulizer
twice a day & using my Spirometer daily. I went to my Breathers group a couple of weeks ago it was lovely to see everyone & have a catch up. I didn't do the exercises I only exercised my mouth 😄😄.

Asthma
I'm on a high level of medication for my asthma I've been with lung specialist for 5 years, I was diagnosed with asthma in the 90s but it was mild enough for me to continue work, however as the years increased my asthma was starting to become a problem, well anyway now my asthma has become a real problem

Hi - I’m asthmatic and it’s always been mild for the most part (managed by salamol & clenil for my reliever and preventer). Whenever I get any form of respiratory illness it goes straight to my chest and I need steroids and antibiotics and have asthma exacerbations not really attacks. Since catching

NHS On The Ball As Ever, Not.
I recently wrote that at the end of February I spent the day in the emergency dept due to shortness of breath, I'd been advised to go there by the GP surgery. Anyway it was decided after lots of tests it was an exacerbation of my asthma, I was treated with a nebuliser, steroids and a stronger inhaler
