Are you able to take this homeopathic remedy whilst pregnancy?? I have tried absolutely everything for thrush and nothing seems to work! This is the last thing I can think of trying :(

I would speak to GP/Midwife...have you tried natural yogurt?

Yes, tried natural yoghurt, tried cream pessary, tried tablet pessary, can't seem to shift it, gp said I can't take oral canestan tablet for thrush so not sure what else to do, gp didnt seem to know much about nelsons candida! I know it's not serious however it's getting me down now!

I think its best to speak to your midwife about this.

Sometimes if you're experiencing bad thrush it may also have something to do with any sort of shower gels / soaps you are using.

Our skin can start to be reluctant to things that we would usually have no problem with during pregnancy.

I have had a very bad bout of thrush a few weeks ago, I used canisten pessary and cream, this combo worked but not the cream on its own!

Also other advice I now put into action is:

Drink Yakult everyday

Drink cranberry juice everyday

Stopped using any soap on my lady garden

Cotton knickers only

Wipe front to back

So at so good, it hasn't returned.

Speak to the midwife and get a swab done just in case it's something else.

Haha sorry i thought your comment had a Lil funny twist when you said stopped useage of soaps on the Lady Garden.

But yeah i totally agree some soaps actually contain acids & other irratable substances which could be the main reason of thrush sometimes

cut out sugar...and bread, google it, I'm sure there is some info about it xx

Hi, I'm a doctor of microbiology, and having a mum thats a homeopathic doctor (We have great arguments in the house!), I would say that I would go back to your doctor, and get a full examination by a specialist in the area, ask to be referred, these yeasts can hide under shedding tissues and treatment needs to be extended and monitored to ensure completely removed. Then the aim is then to try and get your normal flora back, which can help prevent repeat regrowth, no strong soaps, no douching, bubble baths etc. No evidence exists on any homeopathic treatment against bacteria, yeast, or viruses. (Sorry mum!). Although I know when your suffering there is little comfort as its really sore and irritating, ask to be referred to a specialist, asap. And I wish you a speedy recovery, all the best.
