hey ladies, this is a question especially for those in Edinburgh and near-around region.
Has any of you planned or are planning for a pregnancy photoshoot - I would surely want to do that, but I have no clue about the good photographers and how much they would be charging for it. Although I am looking around, but no luck yet
Second, can someone guide me to a store which sell photoshoot props + stores selling cheap beach wedding gowns in various colors + store selling lace fabric in various colors -i chkd the Princess street but nothing which would really attract me
(sorry if I am sounding too demanding, i am just too excited)

Although not in Edinburgh, my husband and I had a Maternity Photo shoot last Sunday (for a Mother's Day treat). We paid £25 up-front for the session, and then any prints and framing of what we choose will be extra, prices to be confirmed when we view the pictures this weekend, with no obligation to buy if we don't like any of them. (Make sure you agree this with the photographer beforehand).
I searched on Google for Baby Photographers in my area, and then contacted a few to see if they did the sort of work I wanted. I found it useful to look on-line for the sort of images I liked, and emailed those through to the photographer to make sure it was clear for both of us.
I'm not sure what props you'd need other than your bump, but I'd try eBay for dresses and probably a proper market stall for lace fabric. Sorry I don't know if Edinburgh has a market, but again, Google would no doubt have the details if you type it in....
I really enjoyed the session, and it will be a permanent record of a very special time, as it's not long until that bump goes and becomes a real, live baby in your arms!
I would try doing what you did, but so far the photographers i found through google gave me a quote of 500 pounds above, so good to know wht you guys paid. thanks a lot hon.
