I am 34 weeks pregnant and finding it hard to bend and things now. I am also unable to see down below so trimming is not easy if at all possible. I am a bit embarrassed at the thought of it not being trimmed when I go into give birth. Do you think most woman have the trimming problem and so don't worry about it?

Trimming
I'm sure the midwives etc have seen everything before but I would feel the same as you and I have often wondered about that haha. Do you have a partner who might be able to assist? xx

Use an electric beard trimmer with mirror makes u feel better if your all trim and ready, I'm def shaving my legs etc before
Lol got the same issue, hubby will have to. Trim my lady garden
Aww hehe I was thinking the exact same thing the other day like you say I cant see what its like down there anymore and dont want to go into labour with it unkemp. I suppose when we are in labour that is the last thing we are going to be concerned about though. Am thinking about asking my partner to see if he can help though. Even if its just a little trim its got to be better than no trim at all good luck
It's safe to wax, if you want to get someone else to sort your 'Lady Garden'!
I can't remember a single case of a well groomed lady during my spells in Obstetrics...
Since my main form of exercise was swimming during late pregnancy I used a mirror and an epilator to sort myself out...until my SPD and a rib injury made even that impossible and I wasn't going swimming anymore anyway. When I went into the latent phase of labour I made my husband do my legs, but I left him off the hook for my lady garden, figuring the pain it would cause me and the distress it would cause him if he accidentally hurt me down there just wouldn't be worth it. Now due to a hormonal imbalance I suffer from hirsuitism, so when allowed to get into a state my downstairs is particularly embarrassing, but believe you me, when you get into active labour and that pain kicks in, you cease to care what you look like, or indeed about anything besides getting that baby out. And everybody in that delivery room knows the score, so they don't care either. So just let it all hang out--this is a non-issue
Hi there, if it makes you feel better then perhaps have a wax but honestly, like the comment above, absolutely no-one in the delivery suite is even remotely interested in anything besides a healthy mummy and baby - I don't think they would notice a vajazzle even! (Well they might!!) x
After going into prem labour with my son at 30 wks, so really no time to worry about trimming or even shaving my legs for that matter, i'm not worrying at all about been trimmed anymore. i will be shaving my legs this time around but again last thing on my mind. i just want to deal with the pain an get through it as easy as possible. The doctors an miwifes really arent bothered.
I was the same with my first prey - am sure the midwives have seen it all before but I couldn't leave it! A mirror and my hubbys hair electric trimmer were my saviour (tried with a normal razor first but got confused with direction looking in the mirror and had a few nicks so swopped - not that he knows - lol)
I for one, will be rocking a fuzzy froo froo. I was slightly concerned about not being able to see my hoochi koochi, amused that shaving was no longer possible. If only I could show the staff something they hadn't seen before! 70's miffy muffy here I come. I'm sure I may start by being a bit shy but staff will reassure me that they've seen it all before. whatever you are comfy with you must do. It's your experience, good luck with squeezy time when it comes! xxx
Thanks everyone
thankfully I dont have much to shave off from my legs. With my lady garden, having no full-size mirror in the bathroom since quite some years have got me into the habit of trimming almost blindly (I can say my hands have the eyes needed to watch and trim )
I don't think you should worry at all - they have always seen worse - or you can look at it as an excuse to pamper yourself and go and have a pampering session - a lot of beauty salons now do yummy mummy packages for these sort of things so why not go and treat yourself - it'll make you feel better too.
xx
I really wouldn't worry! I am now pregnant for the 2nd time (early days), but the first time I used veet and a mirror. My daughter was born by emergency section and when the nurse got the razor out to give me a trim pre surgery she was really shocked that she didn't have to bother! Clearly most women aren't so "organised", so I would say just do whatever makes you comfortable, but it will be the last thing on your mind when you are about to see your beautiful baby for the first time!
Hiya, I have used Veet depilatory cream and a mirror too. No chance of cuts, and it is easy to do. Remove with a damp cloth or damp cotton wool. Apply some aloe vera gel afterwards.
