Shopping for your new born baby.

I have a great news to share with all of u ladies, today I did my baby's shopping at a place called:

Totland Toys & Nursery Goods Ltd

4 Bruce Grove

Haringey

London N17 6RA

This benefits most to those of u living in London or may visit before baby arrives. You can find any brand you normally would at either Babies R Us or Mothercare for the fraction of the price. Unfortunately they don't have a website, but if I were you I'd go check it out. I bought Quinny Mood pushchair with carrycot, car seat and rain cover for just £650 it is currently priced £930 in Mothercares. Also bought cot bed, dresser/changer and wardrobe for £600. Mammas & Pappas Moses basket for £50.

I bought lots of bedding and other items but believe me it was well worth it. I may have went OTT but couldn't help it, I may have done my shopping too early as am only 23 weeks now but this won't be delivered til June and paid 10% as deposit.

Bargains galore Hawa11! You haven't gone OTT, you're excited and have every right to go and spend some cash to prepare.

I couldn't actually buy anything for months on end, too overwhelmed by the mass of choice and also wanted to research some of the things I perhaps didn't really need. Also a lot of things have been gifted by my excited mummy, daddy and sister! I'm so grateful for their help.

I'm getting an Uppababy Vista at the end of the month (a family gift), I have bought the car seat, baby reclining seat thingy, play mat, she has heaps of clothes (mainly gifts and some bought second hand as I don't want to buy her too many brand new clothes when she'll only be in it for a matter of months or weeks depending on how quickly she grows), steriliser, baby monitor, blankets (which I made for her as I quite the keen knitter and crocheter). There's still more to buy... breast pump for starters! Quite expensive really when you add it all up! But worth it, I'm enjoying the preparations although I'm not going to buy everything straight away I want to go and strut with my little Squiggly in the shopping centre and get things for her while people coo at just how cute she is!
