Do you get a scan picture if you are referred to the early pregnancy unit!?
At my early pregnancy unit they dont give u a scan pic till 12 weeks. But ask u never know
I had a scan at 6 weeks and we didn't get a picture only at your 12 week scan.
I asked for one and they were fine it must depend where you go. So just ask them it should be fine because they print pictures for your file anyway just ask for one of them x
I had a scan at the early unit at 7weeks 5days and they gave me a picture before I even asked but I would of otherwise asked x

They should be able to give you one but be careful how you ask though. There's usually a reason why you're going to have an early scan.
The first time I went (after a little bleeding), I asked for a picture quite airily and was cut down by the sonographer with a 'this isn't just a photo opportunity, you know'. After that remark, I cried through most of the scan but at least that prepared me for the bad news we got afterwards. The midwife who formally told us of the detected miscarriage did give us a photo as a momento - which is very precious to us now.
The second time had to go to an early scan (again after a little bleeding), I asked earnestly for a photo, making clear that should there be bad news again, I wanted to have a photo of my little one to keep. This time the sonographer was very kind (and it was all fine!) and we got a strip of photos - possibly because the sonographer was pleased for us that it was good news.

I had a scan at 6 weeks and didnt get a picture but to be honest they wasnt really nothing to see only the heartbeat... but i had to attend again at 8weeks 5days and they gave me 2 scan pictures and didnt have to ask so i think it just depends on how far on u are.. x
I have had scans at 5 ,6, 9 ,12 and 20,23 weeks and am due one this week (24) and have had pictures from all but one of them, you just need to ask and if the machine does printouts obviously as some do not
