I have pollicycstic ovaries and told it would be hard for me to have children. I've been with my partner for 2 years and we've been trying for over a year. Now the bottom of my abdomen is hard as hell and I continuously have abdominal pain. My nipples are changin darker colour and I'm gettin a rounder belly and Iu doesn't look like I'm getting fat. I'm not sick but I've done 3 Tesco pregnancy tests all negative. Don't know what to do next. Please help!

Go and see you doctor it maybe something else or if it isn't he may refure you to have an early pregancy scan to confirm weather you are preganant or not! Good luck

Hi I suffer from the same condition as yourself I have since teens I was told the same thing it will be hard but I took the pregnancy multivitimins from vitabiotic the trying to conceive I have a 3 year old daughter now and a baby boy due on 15th may. The symptoms sound like pregnancy but I wouldn't say for definate as I am not a GP I agree with kbj2012 make an appointment with your gp and they can test there as they may give you the hcg blood test which is the blood test to see if the pregnancy hormone is present this is what my gp offered me with my first child. I wish you all the luck x

Agree with these ladies, pop to your gp. Some of the symptoms do sound like pregnancy, but could be something else. It's always best to get checked out if anything out of the ordinary is happening to your body. Pregnancy tests are very accurate these days.

My sister had PCOS and was told shed probably not have a natural pregnancy. She came of the pill, got fit, lost a few pounds and viola! A beautiful baby boy!!

So it does happen. All the best

A x

I would just add that while it is true that pregnancy tests are very accurate, that is only the case if you are testing at the right time. If your cycles are irregular, you might have tested too early and got a false negative result. As the others have advised, it is best to speak to a GP - they may refer you for a scan and you can find out for sure.
