Cerazette and pregnancy

Hi, I've been on cerazette and my husband and I started trying last month. Have had nausea, bloating and sore nipples. Could these be a side effect of coming off the pill or pregnancy symptoms?have done a hpt a couple of weeks ago but came back negative.

They are pregnancy symptoms , but there can be other reasons for these symptoms , don't know about the cerazette.

do a clear blue digital - its worth the extra money and are very accurate.

I got + tests 5 days b4 my due period both times. Had symptoms as u described from the off with my 3yo but only just getting symptoms now at 7 weeks, was worried about lack of symptoms this time but coming on strong now. Everyone is different.

Hi, is your period due or not yet? Clear blue digital will give you a very good result (up to 4 days before), but best reccomended on the day your period is due, if you get a negative test again, try after 3 days. Good luck

Hi with my first child i was on the same pill as yourself and came off it I can't recall having any of these symptoms when coming off the pill I had those symptoms 2 months after as I had falling pregnant. I would wait until about a week after your due date for period and test with a clear blue digital as they are the best test or if your not sure make and appointment with your gp and ask them to test you as they can also give you the hcg blood test which tests the to see if the pregnancy hormone is present in your symptoms. hope this heps

Hi - I came off cerazette around the november 2011 and had exactly the same symptoms as you, i was convinced I was pregnant but negative tests results I put this down to my body getting back to normal. It was at least 7 weeks before I had a period after I came off the pill, as i never had periods when I was on it so was not sure when I was supposed to have my period. It took me another 6 months to get pregnant. Im now 26 weeks.

I would have a chat to your dr or start trying after you have a complete cycle after coming off the pill, you will then be able to tell your ovulation dates.

Hi poster, I came off this pill end of October, ovulated around the end of November and caught first time.! Had the symptoms and thought I was due on but did a test 2 weeks after conception and was thrilled! Good luck x
