How you are feeling is perfectly normal under the circumstances. I have been there myself, my second pregnancy I had an mmc in the 2nd trimester. I am now pregnant again, and throughout the whole time I have been questioning every niggle, symptom or lack of symptom. It doesn't matter how many times people tell you that every pregnancy is different, that worry will stay.

My advice is just to take each day as it comes, listen to your body and bug your midwife if you ever have concerns, that is what they are there for.

Just to let you know my experience, I am now 20+3, everything has gone brilliantly, I feel healthier than I did with either of my previous pregnancies, and I found out yesterday we are having another boy! Just because things have gone wrong in the past, doesn't mean they will again. Hope this helps in some way.

I agree completely with gbinny. I miscarried with my second pregnancy, and am now on my third. The worries stayed with me until around 21 weeks when I could feel the baby moving on a regular basis. Looking back, I wish I'd known how to find peace during the first half of my pregnancy. Don't know the magic answer to that :)

I am now 32 weeks, and everything's going just fine.

You're pregnancy is almost entirely beyond your control now, so take control of the bits where you can (supplements, diet, talking to your bump). And try your hardest not to worry about the rest.

You should absolutely discuss concerns with your midwife, and you'll not be able to remove worry completely. But I look at how much I enjoyed my first pregnancy compared to this one, and wish I could turn back the clock to try it without all the extra worry.

i had the same problem with my symptoms that they disappeared over the weekend. i had my 12 week scan and my symptoms are still gone, my other two i had terrible symptoms all the way through so has been strange for me. if u r still worried have u tried the early pregnancy unit? or ask for an early scan if possible.
