Am i pregnant???

I had my coil removed at the end of August. Now i'm experiencing, in my mind the early signs of Pregnancy. I feel constantly sick, tender breasts, gone off coffee and off cigarettes. I have done tests which come back negative and even the one i had at the doctors came back negative today. Any ideas??.

Hi,

I had similar symptoms after coming off the pill, and it seems fairly common. It's usually due messed up hormones after coming off any sort of contraceptive. It can take a few months for your body to settle into it's natural rhythm, so give it a little time.

Of course, if the symptoms persist or worsen, go back to your doctor.

It's just really doing my head in, having all the symptoms and no answers. Like i said in my question...they are now getting worse every few days..i'm even getting the small lumps around my nipples now and the sickness / tender breasts is getting worse also. I just keep thinking yes i am, but i'm going to be patient and just see what happens.

If it's hormone fluctuations, it just takes time. I had exactly the same. Even after my doctor told me that the blood test results were definitive, I still was convinced I was pregnant for about another month. Hang in there. But, hey, if the symptoms persist, no harm in taking a pregnancy test in another few weeks. And certainly, if the symptoms don't resolve, keep talking to your doctor. Unlikely, but could be underlying cause of symptoms - best safe than sorry if it's taking too long to resolve.
